Default sticky for adding vtec to a 96-98 civic

Sup fellas. I was wondering if anyone can direct a sticky link that explains adding vtec (knock sensor, vtec ppressure&solenoid, IACV, CKP wiring) and anything else required on a 96-98 Civic ex coupe without Vtec on a 96-97 JDM Type R motor. Ive been searching for awhile now with no luck. Thanks again!

I'm confused the EX should already have VTEC unless you're in Canada? What is the engine you have in it now?

Yea my EX chassis doesnt have VTEC. So I'm trying to figure out the wiring if I put a 96-97 spec ITR motor. For IACV, VTEC solenoid, pressure, IAB, CKP and anything else. Thanks again.

Either get a 96-98 EX wiring harness and wire in the secondary O2 or use your harness and wire up VTEC, knock sensor, 3 wire IACV to 2 wire, extend the second O2 and place your IAT into the intake arm. There is no IAB's on ITR engines. The CFK sensor if your engine is JDM is not there so if you use an OBD2 USDM ECU you'll have to bypass it, if its JDM ECU it won't look for it.
