best SC for the R?
i was thinking about getting a supercharger for my itr. what do you think is the best SC for the money.
also does anyone know what kind of modification would have to be done to a vortech SC made for a GSR.
im looking at the comptech SC, vortech SC, JRSC, any others out there for the itr? i want SC not a turbo, and i know keep it NA, right now im just thinking about it. its either that or NAAAAWWSS y0!
thanks in advance guys

The best supercharger for your R is non-existent. Go turbo, you'll be much happier with it's simplicity IMHO.

just wanted to go a different route, but if turbo is gonna be easier to deal with what turbo kit is best for the R? and would a ball bearing turbo upgrade be worth it? who makes a kit for the R? i know drag does, what about rev hard, or greddy but i wouldnt go greddy. its all so confusing. toss up between a SC, turbo, n2o (small shot), or staying NA
For simplicity sake I would reccomend the Drag kit. Get the Tial Wastegate upgrade, and get a missing link check valve rather then the plastic Drag check valves. Bolt it all on and your good to go.
I personally went w/ a complete custom setup, I got better componenets, saved $$, but it took a lot of time and effort to put it all together.

I can think of tons of reasons to go with an SC, but I definitely dont want to get into that argument
http://www.ks-motorsports.com also recently started their Name Your Own Turbo Kit deal which is pretty interesting, especially since it comes with Hondata.

Comptech makes great superchargers, but they are only available for the V6 Hondas/Acuras so your out of luck on them being an option. I met a kid with a Jackson Supercharger on his R and he wasn't happy with it at all. If you really want to boost the R just go turbo.
yeah i wasnt positive if comptech made one i geuss not(they do make one for the s2000 though). my brother had the JRSC on his and had alot of problems and he wasnt happy with the hp gains. so i guess its turbo or an NA setup. thanks for all of your help guys
