B18a1 00 Civic
Hey guys I have a 2000 Honda civic Hx i did a b18a1 swap in. I'm kinda having some issues with the swap right now. I have it all together and it will run, but I have burned through 2 clutches within two hours. I'm using the S1 cable trans with they hydro conversion a carquest flywheel and the last clutch i had was some cheap clutch off of ebay. Any ideas on how to fix it or whats going on exactly? Thanks for the help guys hope to hear back from you soon.
2 clutches in a few hours!??! WOW.......sorry man i have no idea that sounds bad, maybe your clutch master or clutch slave cylinder has taken a sh#$ and even though its engaging, its barely engaging enough and its burning your clutch?? though you'd notice that it would grind and stuff when you change gears....yeah i dunno
sounds like the conversion kit was put on wrong, like its always pushing donw on that clutch, and are you boosting the car or anything? it just sounds like the kit is put on wrong and its has the clutch always engaged..
Whats on the engine.. stock or turbo
Does it grip good? or does it kinda grip and high rpm in the gears while accelerating
If its always running high rpms like hte clutch is going out then its always engaged.. Which Conversion kit are you using?
heres a link that might help

hmm, so when you push the gas do the RPMS go higher than they normally would and you just move slower than usual? also make sure the forks on your pressure plate arn't bent, it just sounds like your clutch is always engaged..do youhave that burning smell like your burning the clutch?
SOrry for the questions just trying to figure out what its actually doing in normal driving conditions
