Edit
the tach on 99eks come from pin a19 on the ecu.
If i connect the tach output from the MW to the harness side of a19, i get nothing.
If i tap a21, where the output signal is for the MW, i can get the tach to show idle, but anything above 3k, it jumps and falls.
Anyone know how to get a 99-00 ek/teg to have the stock tach work with the pro10?

I guess ill deal with it when we start the car. I just wanted all the wiring finished up before it hit the rollers. But i guess wiring in the tach after its tuned wont kill me.

it does in OBD2b form. But i dunno if the OBD1s have the same output. and the wire that is the tach output for the obd2b is where the m&w gets wired into, so its no longer attatched to the car harness.
I gotta look at the harness again, i have a feeling im looking at the wrong pin.

This is for an OBD2 to OBD1 conversion, but might still have some helpful info you could use to figure out your problem.
