Hi all. Just joined the forum. I'm looking for the brightest, whitest legal headlights (legal for on-road) low beams for my 2000 accord ex V6. I've heard mostly bad reviews of the Silverstars, that they tend to burn out quickly. Anyone have better suggestions, maybe from Hella or PIAA? I believe the bulbs are H4 or 9006.

I have used silverstars in my suburban for almost 3 years and no problems, had them in my legacy for almost 2 years too but that got totaled by a drunk driver before they wore out... They have the top of the line ones (I dont remember the name, but their one stage higher) they are to freaking bright and I hated driving with them.. people would flash me their high beams all the time. Anyways I havent had one problem with silverstars and I love them.. I dont drive my Hondas much at night so I never need them

 

Uh, 6000k HID kit from DDMtuning for like $50, good quality, the 6000k's are bright but aren't as blue as the higher ones. Should work out fairly well, i've had my 10000k's in for almost 2 years no problems

 

go 4500k if you want whitest.

Plus, you get less attention from ricers and cops since they wont have a blue hue. My favorite part is how they look OEM-ish since its the same color as BMW's and Acura's.
