7 years after i sold my old R, i picked up a new one yesterday.

Sold my old R for this in 05:

STi with 18" TE37, STi type RA-R suspension, Twinscroll turbo, 3" AVO exhaust and some other go faster bits

And sold that for this in 08:

Toyota Hilux 3.0l rebuilt by Arctic Trucks with 37" tires, air lockers, winch, TTE tuned and more.

So now i have these


A EDM cw98 with 66000 km(not miles) on it, with a comptech cold air intake and got a hytec exhaust and a hondata s300 with it aswell. But that's not mounted on the car right now.

Very nice set of cars you have! The R looks great! How did the subie compare to the R? Which one do you like better?

You have good taste in trucks too. I have a 94 Toyota pickup that im working on getting lift for. I like arctic Toyotas and yours looks great.

Can't really compare them that much, it's 2 completly different beasts. I love the way the R handles, and love the power in the STi when it pulls you out of a corner. All in all the STi is propably a better allround car in my opinion, but you have to pay 3 times as much + it's not a cheap car to run compared to the R.

Might get a EVO X or a new 4 door STi when i'm tired of the hilux though.

 

Welcome back! The caR is beautiful. At least you went for CW. I'm a tad partial, though. That STi was incredible, though... Great cars all around!

wish they sold the Hilux stateside. The R is Dope too.

 

Am going to take some pics of the R and the hilux to show the difference in size, if the weather clears up a little bit. Felt pretty small in the R when the girl driving the hilux back was right behind me at the trafficlights.

 

I love the hilux. Ever seen the Top gear episode where they trek to the North pole in one? Bad @ss! Nice/clean ITR too! Nice taste in cars.

 

So i sold the hilux, just got the ITR for a while.

But ordering one of these as soon as possible. 150.000$ so the R has to go as well though
If i lived in the us, i could get a GTR black edition AND a STi limited with cash to spare for that kind of money.
