Default Feasability of interesting engine swaps...SR20DE/T, VR6, 1.8t

First off, no I didn't just finish watching F&F, and now I want to know how I can be like Johnny Tran and swap some SR20's into my Civic.

I'm actually just curious about how feasible this would be, and what difficulties would be involved.

I know that some pretty serious fabrication would be involved, for mounts and such, but has anyone ever tried any of these?

I half-remember someone mentioning an SR20 swap here on HT, but all they did was mention it.

they do that **** in thailand and malaysia, no need for it here when there are so many honda motors options: too much hassle and cost, for nothing other than being a eccentric idiot who spent way too much money to be "different", tattoo your face or get a reverse mohawk if you want to be different. that my 2 cents

I was just thinking it might be nice to have an engine with a torque curve, instead of a torque peak...

I mean...how can you not see the draw of a 2.8 liter VR6 in a 92 hatch?

If you ask the Golf II/III boys with VR6 swaps to go on the track with their cars, the get their asses handed to them in any curve. My stock D16z6 was fending off a fleet of them in my hatchie this summer. They would get me straight line, but I would out brake them abd out turn them. Some were pretty pissed at me, one even tried to take me out three times....oviously nobody saw it

yea, 15 degree 12 valve V6(old mk2/3) is kind of gay.

i hear you mojo-jojo, but a cheaper and more effective alternative is- if your into torque, put a h22 head on a h23 bottom end and get a roots blower like a jackson. you will have fun keepin the tires from spinning @ any rpm.
