so, ive been away from the forums for a couple months now, was going to leave the honda scene mostly because of the extreme amount of posers, dumb kids, fake parts and theives, but i decided after selling my DAP hatch that id move on to another weekend Honda, all done by me myself and I , car was disassembled and and every panel was stripped to bare metal (for several reasons)
All work from start to finish was done by me,after hours at my shop,
paintjob was done using the follwing steps from baremetal to final finish
PPG d40lp epoxy primer(over bare metal)
PPG ecp11 white primer (over black epoxy)(guide coated and blocked)
PPG ecs11 white sealer (baked and sanded)
PPG envirobase waterbase basecoat (original Y52P)
PPG vibrance custom "yella" midcoat w/real gold metallic flake w/mid-temp hardner
PPG deltron DC4000 clearcoat w/high-temp hardner (air dried not baked) (wetsanded using 3M 1500grit paper)
3M extra cut compound,3M swirl remover/glaze,3M ultra fine finish,
CAR WAS NOT IN AN ACCIDENT ALL PANELS ARE ORIGINAL ASIDE FROM DRIVERS FENDER
STILL A LONG WAY TO GO<BUT NOT BAD FOR ONLY HAVING IT A COUPLE MONTHS
SOME PICS ARE OUT OF ORDER- WHEELS AND TIRES PAGE 2
