DTC CODES on my ef
so i have a 91 civic hatch 1.5L and its been surging on me, i was told to go and see what codes my ecu was blinking soo the results are: 7, 16, 19. and i know that code 19 is a torque converter solenoid, and i believe, thats because i converted from auto to 5spd. code #7 i think is the tp sensor and code #16 is a fuel injector problem. although code 7 and 16 looks like the problem here i just want feedback from you all if you please, thank you
double check all the wiring to the corresponding sensors. Maybe your TPS is bad or the wiring is incorrect or discontinuous. Check you fuel injector wiring and resister box setup make sure its correct. To get rid of the code for the transmission maybe you could ground the wires to the sensor or at the worst get a ecu for a manual version of your car.
If you're handy at all, if I remember correctly it is just 1 resistor in the ecu that you have to desolder out to make it not throw that code.... look it up, I've seen the DIY within the last year...
this is just one: desoldering of an ecu. I'm sure you can find more, that took mere seconds to find.
