CRX Bogging and Dies Out
I just swapped out my Non-VTEC head with a D16Z6 VTEC head and now car dies out when I step on the gas. It worked fine before the swap. Also getting a CEL code 6 which has to do with the coolant temp sensor. I replaced the sensor but, car still dies out. The bottom end is a D15B7 (stock). I replaced these parts, but still dying out when i hit the throttle:
-ECU
-throttle body
-fuel injectors
-IACV
-checked timing
Anyone have this issue before? Thanks.

P06 Manual ECU. Tried a P28 and still same issue. Car ran fine with the non vtec head. I did some reading and others said that the timing on the cam gear can be off and to move the timing back one tooth. Also tried replacing the dizzy, and still having the same issue.

I adjusted timing and idle is way better, but I'm still having the issue with Bogging and hesitation when I step on the gas pedal. I tried a known good dizzy and still same issue.
I did some research and found some people mention that they had to replace a bad O2 sensor and had to do a cam gear upgrade and adjust it 4.75 degrees. I have done 2 mini-me swaps and i have never had to add an adjustable cam gear. I guess I'll give it a try.
When converting over do you have to swith the tps wires? If so, did you swap the wires for the tps? The two outside wires should be switched.. Unless the tps is normally in the same position as the original.
for the TPS youre looking for .5 DCvolts closed and 4.5+ dc volts at WOT
Middle wire in the pigtail is your hot wire, also you can plug into the connection at the ecu for a more accurate reading. For your case I think checking it at the plug will be sufficient

if you had an A6 in there before, I'd try just replacing the throttle body with the old one. my car acted similar with a bad tps. could even just be the ground. I had to add my own ground to the chassis from the TPS middle wire, and that helped.
Both middle pins on each plug was bent and out of place. Forgot to take pics of them outta place. If you look at the pins, they should be straight.
