H2B full build is nice fast reliable, lsvtec is shitty unless you change your crank and pistons

if you're looking for "serious power" the extra displacement has the obvious advantage

obviously for more power the h22 with all the usual things I/H/E and what not will be much more potent than the LS/VTEC with around the same mods, but I don't think you know what your getting into with an H22 swap which is very, very hard to do, unless your letting a garage doing it, and not to mention, you might want to look up H2B, and that cost even more money, Short Gears + Torque = Quick Acceleration

ive built a type r already and now its gone. just lookin to do something diff. i havent built a h22 and its gonna happen.lol ill do wat i gotta do. itstead of saying dont do it how bout a couple pointers at the spots your saying i might get stuck or it might get hard. i mean a motor is a motor is a motor. all go suck, squeeze, bang, blow. if you are talking price wise idk what im getting into, im not worried bout that. on the real tho i would like to know why it would be so hard?

If you already built a type r, the h22 is gonna be a dissapointment unless its h2b, but the reason why its supposably so hard is because you need conversion motor mounts, axles, hydro to cable kit since h22 transmission come cable and i think maybe even some wiring if im not mistaking.

well the type r was a good time. i do this for the hell of it. i expect it to be diff. i mean i could do another b18 but i dont want to do the same thing over again. i like doing diff stuff for the experience. it will still be alot of hp when its done. do you have any info on the best places where i can get the parts for this conversion?

Im pretty sure ebay sells it all. Just make sure the parts are brand name. And they are converting h22 to Eg or Ek or Ef depending on which ever car your putting it in. Hasport makes the mounts, axle, and hyrdo to cable kit.

And as for wiring i think it should all plug up just use a p28 ECU and get it chipped and socketed so you could get it tuned.

How is an h22 a disappointment? They come with more power straight from the factory.
