OBD0 Codes 1 and 43 - O2 sensor Question
stock b18a1
OBD0
PR4 ECU
DPFI to MPFI
Alright, so im throwing a code 43 (4 long, 3 short), which is fuel supply system, and I have had this code since I swapped last year. Apparently people just ignore it because its just a picky code and my car was running perfect, so i ignored/have been ignoring it since.
But now I have code 1 (1 short), O2 sensor. When I was swapping, I tried to run no o2 sensor, and the car would run so rich that it wouldn't even stay idling. I straight wired a single wire o2 sensor to the ecu and threaded it into the header and the problem was gone, although code 1 never appeared in the first place. Now i have code 1, and I'm experiencing bogging/hesitation in the lower rpms (running rich). Im pretty sure its the o2 sensor being gay again, but I don't understand how the majority of people i know run no o2 sensor and their car runs just fine, but mine starts to run super rich?
My question really is, is there any way to bypass the o2 sensor, or get my car running like normal without one? I'm very certain its whats making my car run rich at the low rpm's and feel gutless.

code 1 is gone now, and the car drives great, until the CEL comes on. It always comes on right when the engine reaches its normal operating temp, with code 43. And RIGHT when the CEL comes on with code 43, i have sputtering/ loss of power in the low rpms again. If i turn the key off and back on, the CEL goes away for about 10 minutes, and so does the sputtering problem, then it returns.
