Default is running an engine without coolant for a very short time ok?

just like the title says, is it ok to run an engine for a very short time with no coolant? the reason for doing this is because i am parting out a running car. i would like to keep the engine running untill it is sold since having it running is a good way to get a better price. but my rad in my dd is leaking and i need a rad so i want to take the one out of my parts car. and i was wondering if its ok to run it for like 15 seconds to show someone that it runs and so they can hear there isnt a knock or valve tap or anything wrong with it.

thanks in advance for the input

Yea you should be fine but why not just put the leaky one in that car so you can at least have some coolant in it

yeah that is fine but it may have a funny idle due to there being no coolant running through the iacv and fast idle.
but a more direct answer, no it will not damage your engine

You should have alittle coolant around the sleeves still but keep it short

i guess i could also just fill up the engine with coolant and loop a hose from the intake hole and outtake hole and ya i know i would only have it on for like 10 seconds to show someone it isnt making any funny sounds
