i figured id post up my little "build thread" tho its not much of a build... im new to the S2000 world but ive wanted one for quit some time... ALWAYS been a Honda fan just new to the S2k! I sold my beloved Integra to get one so... first off here what i had before

Cosmetic Issues....

1. Interior radio frame door was busted
2. Interior center counsol has a crack
3. Shift boot was ripped so PO used a part of jeans to fix (IDK WHY)
4. small crack in front bumper

i got started right away fixing it up, heres the radio door

Bought some wheels shortly after, long story short i got scammed a little, dude saud rims were PC'd.. they werent (they were spray painted) tires were good condition, they werent... and he charged me $200 more for shipping then they really cost to be shipped

so i got the tires off and ready to be stripped and redone

 

while my rims and bumper were off being fixed and painted xmas was around and the girlfriend bought me a Carbing cooling plate



it was used but its not often the girl buys me car parts lol

i also bought myself a xmas gift a SPOON replica roll bar

Prolly the biggest box ive ever gotten



150ft of bubble wrap and 100 ft of packing tape later...



also snagged some D2 coilovers for a good price

 

then i oredered a new exhaust, i couldnt stand the loud *** Megan Exhaust (which is FOR SALE)

then i ordered a jsracing replica diffusser... the peeps i got from has TON of rep but i VERY DISAPPOINTED with it... another long story short, hardware looked like a 5 year old made it and the fitment was horrible, i ended up sending it back and getting a refund



and of course i had to buy some "look pretty" parts
Blox lug nuts, Rad stays and PWJDM fender washers

another long story short... dude ****ed up my fender rolling, had to pay hundreds to get them fixed

these are the fenders after the fender rolling job, they dont look bad in the ics but they were in person... i dont have pics of the rears but they didnt look pretty either

when he fixed the fenders/quarters body work was done and the whole fenders/quarters got repainted, this is how it sat for automotion

 

personally i would have gotten diff/better coils, a hard dog roll bar, and a single exhaust.

but glad to c ur brought/bringing her back to life.

 

for my daily driving and the price the coilovers are just fine, i dislike the the harddog roll bar from my understanding you cannot have the stock roll hoops and i dont like the way that looks and it had a single exhaust but i disliked the look of that also as the dual exhaust fills the bumper nicely instead of having it look like youre missing something, i know they make caps for that reason but the ap2 rear bumper cap looks dumb and i love the way the invidia dual exhuast looks

I have and like the D2 coilovers. I've tracked them and have nothing but good things to say about them. Sucks about your luck with the wheels and rolling fenders. But looks like you got them sorted out.

 

its not bad really... it depends how tall you are so

lol nothing on this car has went smoothly, putting the new exhaust on was the only thing that didnt have issues and even then i was missing 3 rubber exhaust hangers

 

So glad you got rid of the blue wheels....

and pad your rollbar. Even though it's a horribly designed rollbar, least put some proper padding so your head/limbs are safe.

 

to be honest... i feel the roll bar isnt gonna do much in a accident anyways lol

 

except maybe give you a skull fracture if your head hits it

 

which it wouldnt anyway, always wear a seatbelt... if i roll, anything hits my head its gonna be the pavement

 

Seems like you have a lot of bad luck with the car but you kept on going!!


The car looks great and everything looks much better. Wish you wouldve chosen a prettier color for the wheels but they look sleek. :D
