Default 'Notchy' feeling when shifting

Hey guys, I have a problem with a gearbox I rebuilt recently.

A little history on this gearbox:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/transmission-drivetrain-127/4-266-close-ratio-2824405/

Since the thread above, I have replaced the 1.1 5th gear with a 1.130 5th, the LSD to an ITR unit and final drive to 4.4 ratio.

I'm using Honda MTF (it's all I ever use) and the gears feel 'notchy' when I shift, even with the car off. I often have to depress the clutch a couple times while moving around the lever to get into reverse gear. Sometimes its very difficult to get into gears...all of them.
The gears won't grind, they just wont go in without some force. The gearbox shifted perfectly before, but since this last rebuild it has been giving this problem.

At first I thought it was the clutch, but I recently took out my other 4.785 Tranny that worked perfectly with that same clutch. And the fact that it happens with the car turned off.

I have a lots of gearbox parts and I may have switched the original change piece with another. I am not sure but it is a possibility, its the only thing i can think about.

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a clutch issue since it effects all gears but PLEASE use something other than Honda MTF.

I have some amsoil I was going to use to try and diagnose the problem. I'll try it and report back later today.

Update: I changed the oil and it feels awesome; none of my transmissions have ever shifted like this before. Night and day difference!

Never again will I use Honda MTF.

Thanks Mista Bone!

P.S. I'll try to take a video of the new ratios and final drive soon.

So what fluid did you replace the Honda MTF with? The Amsoil? If so, what specific product?

^Yeah, the Amsoil Synthetic Gear Lube SAE 75W-90.

I didnt do much high rpm shifting but it feels much smother than the Honda MTF.
