Default vtec killer cams in my Euro R h22

Hey guys,

Was thinking about throwing vtec killer cams in my eg.

This is not my DD but I do love driving it around, so was wondering what kind of gas milage I will get when I do this; also what kind of power would you guess the car would make after? Car makes 220 as it sits now.

Here's MY question. Why are you thinking about doing this mod if you have no idea of the end result?

Seems like you are uninformed as well. Read.

Absolutely a foolish idea for a daily.

just unplug a spark plug and you get the same sound. lol. seriously you need to learn about a cam and what it does. you dont just slap it on and make power. at the very LEAST you need a tune. but you should upgrade the valves, springs, retainers, port match the intake and head, and high compression pistons (if you stay NA)

HAHA!!!! Im laughing at most answers I got on here... I understand completely how a camshaft works; however in all fairness I am new to honda's more of an expert in V8's..

Didn't think I had to explain step by step to get an answer... I would be doing a h/c combo.. would wait to do high compression pistons though, would rather wait to rip apart the block.

Just wanted a general idea if anyone on here has done it, and what their end results was.

Thanks to those who answered my question.

You should always mention all details in the first post. Saves from getting, what you would call, non-responsive answers. It also shows there's some thought behind the question being answered.

Definitely will do that next time. You happen to know anyone that has done a Killer cam?

Skunk Pro cams will make more power all over the powerband than those Toda killer cams would in that H series. Like to the point where it's not even funny.

No but I would build the head before installing the cam.

You'd have to build a lot more than just the head to properly run Toda Killers.
