Won't matter. Keep what you have.. you'll be fine. For FI, there is no advantage of either one or the other, except for the camshafts, in which GS-Rs are preferred.. Therefore, keep what you have..

GSR head for sure. the smaller "quench" area promotes a much better swirl effect and atomization of the air/fuel mixture, as well as centralizes the mixture around the spark plug and keeps the burn path in the middle of the piston for an overall stronger power stroke.

But like Shodan added, for FI application the head's will react in the same fashion. An N/A application is where what I said above really comes into play when you try to take the most advantage of the combustion chamber design to net you a more efficient and powerful burn.

The B16 head will do just fine, but if you have a choice go with the GSR head.

IMO the best designed Honda B-series head from factory.

Stick with the GSR. The only downside is that the GSR head runs a different IM flange than the B16/B17/ITR which makes finding aftermarket intake manifolds marginally more difficult. The GSR cams are better than B16 which offsets the previous issue.

GSR head with stock intake manifold gutted and ported, or with a edelbrock Intake manifold.

If you already have a B16 head as well, you could use that with the GSR cams to the same effect.

There the same. If there is a difference then it's nothing you'll notice. I prefer the GSR head to the B16 head personally. I like the quench areas it has. But again, in reality I doubt you'll notice a difference between either head.

GSR if you can actually find one, just for the whole "quench pad" but around here in Kent, WA they are almost none going for sale, but a B16 that's all you can find for a good rpice, plus they are somewhat more available I believe.
