My CRX seats are killing my back
I have super mint, unripped 90-91 Si seats in my CRX that I would really hate to get rid of but they are killing my back when I drive my CRX to work (~60 miles one way).
Has anyone over 6' tall been able to swap out integra or more comfortable seats into their CRX? I already hit my head going over speed bumps so Im worried about the height difference.
I have a set of del sol, 97 civic and 99 integra seats I can play with and spare crx pans and sliders but I dont want to waste my time if they arent any more comfortable than whats already in it.

I used to have 92-95 Civic seats in my hatch, only 3 bolts though and one of the holes on the rails had to be slotted to make it work. It wasn't any more comfortable than the original DX seats. I also now have 90-91 Civic Si seats in there and I think those are the best OEM seats to have. I'm 6'2" BTW.
thanks 24ten. Ive done dozens of seat pan swaps so Im not worried about how im going to mount them. I dont want to bother taking apart 3 sets of seats and experimenting if anyone has already figured out which of the seats I listed is the most comfortable if any.
I would imagine Integra seats would be a good choice and since they are interchangeable with 92+ Civics mounting them shouldn't be too difficult a task. The 3 bolt thing I did isn't something I'd recommend though.
Being over 6', nothing will fit you with the stock seat brackets. I don't know if Recaro, etc makes rails that are lower than stock mounts. If you don't mind drilling/modifying the floor, you can mount any seat pretty low. I did this with a Sparco seat, but had to cut out the left rear mounting bracket.

I have had pretty much every set of Honda seats and I'd have to say the DC Integra seats are probably the most comfortable and most stylish in my opinion. I'd swap the 99s in. Those del sol seats will kill your back too.
dont the integra seats make u sit higher!!!???!! because i had a pair of DA seats and it sits hella high.. so i just stick with my crx seats unless i find some comfortable bucket seats
I sit with the seat back the whole way anyway so I can easily fab up some rails without sliders on the and gain at least 1.5"s with the integra seats which might get me tolerable head room
Mine are Dc teggy leathers and I can sit up right and not hit my head.. they do have gangster lean but you can do some notching work and alittle spacer and make them not so bad
my da teggy seats in my wagon have the lumbar support adjustment and the back support adjustments... they are super comfy.. i will swear by them... granted im only 5'10" but i love my da seats
i would give you some sentra se-r spec v seats for yours if you were close to me. very comfortable and nice looking, just need work to fit.
i drive 55 miles on way to work and find mine to be very comfortable at 6'2"
