I drove without knowing my speed for 5 years. lol. I finally got around to fixing it by replacing the speedo part in the cluster. That fixed the problem for 2 weeks but not this morning it just went out ago, it went the other way like I maxed my speed out. lol.
My question is what could it be? I Know its not the speed sensor cause I changed it out and tested it and it wasent the problem. I changed the speedo, that fixed it for 2 weeks and is now out again. I slapped my dashboard above the gauge cluster and it moved it alittle but what do you guys think it could be? Im thinking the connecter either on the sensor or the connector that connects to the cluster. o yeah, by the way my fuel gauge is acting up. it goes maxed out to full then to what the fuel level really is at. It does that rarely.
I'm stumped

My speedo was out for awhile until I realized that the pins in the connector at the VSS were corroded and not making continuity in the circuit. If you're for sure that the VSS and speedometer work, then the connectors at the cluster/ECU/VSS may be the cause of the issue. Those rarely fail though so if you know someone with a similar Civic borrow their cluster and VSS to verify...

I was sure that the vis was working cause the mileage was still rolling but the speed was off. Now that i changed the speedo. The mileage don't work anymore and now the speedo failed
