i just rebuilt my b16 and nw i want to get a little more hp by installing a set of cams but i dont know what to go with..should i use ctr or itr cams.. i was also trying to see how much hp i would gain.

 

5-10whp maybe.

Ctr and itr cams are pretty much the exact same thing

 

CTR and ITR exhaust cams are identical, period. CTR cams have 3 degrees more duration on the vtec lobe than 97-99 ITR intake cam. Everything else is the same. 00-01 ITR cams are identical to CTR cams.

Either way, unless you're boosted, you won't see a noticeable increase in power. 3-4WHP - as much as you'd get from a free flowing exhaust. If you really feel like spending the money for an unnoticeable gain, get whichever cam set is more accessible and cheaper.

 

yea i thought 10hp was what i would get out of them but any hp is better than none thanks
