not much you can do man depending on how bad it is...you can either replace the panels that are rusitng or if it's just surface rust you can take it to a body shop and have them take a look, or if you do body work yourself make it a project..gl

Will post them tonight. It is not bad, all of it is surface rust and most of it is on removable parts. The body is in good condition, have a few dings from doors and some scratches.

Your best bet is to have it professionally cut out and replace the metal..

Sounds like he's referring to undercarriage rust as opposed to body rust. The latter would have most likely been apparent to the naked eye without close inspection, whereas the former could go undetected in haste.

Etank82, you hit the nail on the head. The body is great, there is no rust at all, it wasn't until I put the car up on a lift that I saw the crust on bottom side. Photos are coming in a few minutes. Thank god I don't have to cut panels and replace, that would suck.

The guy added undercoat :-/

This was before the wash, which should have knocked the spiderwebs off the car. He had a garage and said he didn't drive the car for two years, it is reading in at 54K on the odometer.

Yeah, after I got heR cleaned up it looked a whole lot better. The rust is all on parts, got a little work to do to knock the cobwebs off. Sure glad she doesn't look like that crusty car in the snow, that would suck *****.

Why do I need to check VINS for a missing cover?

Thanks Bro. Will have my hands full with this one, being from Cleveland I hate the sight of anything that looks like rust. By the way, you may want to change your name to R MAN FRESH with that epic build you have going. Big ups to you on building one of the best rides on the road!

Why would you take it off for no reason? Just to check and see if the numbers are matching.

I look at the engine, the plate for the B18C5 is red and there is no VIN on the block, the transmission has the VIN from the car. The guy said the block was replaced due to the engine being blown.
