Turbo Teg SAFC issues?
Ok so Ive got this integra in my garage, which is not starting.Jdm gsr with t4 turbo. The problem im having is the tune and the apexi safc. It was tuned on ECTUNE by previous owner, which ive never heard of.
It all started when I was emptying the catch can, which is located fairly close to the map sensor. The map sensor the previous owner was using is a motorola 2.5 map sensor. Purchased off here (got in touch with his relative, and he gave me the site where he purchased most things off of)
http://www.phearable.net/shoppingcar...nsor-p-37.html
He obviously cut the wires because this sensor doesnt plug in, and he taped them onto the sensor. I guess this worked for him, but after emptying the can, I noticed the car didnt start. So i quickly thought of everything I had messed with, and what come to mind was the map sensor with tape all over it. I took off the tape and noticed the poor job he had done. And no matter how I put the wires back onto the sensor, car wouldnt start.
So months passed, when I had some free time i had a good friend solder the wires. Battery was dead, so jumpstated it. When I started the car, it was idling like some **** and sounded very bad. Thats when I realized that all the settings on the apex safc were RESET.
This is where I am now, in need of help/advice from you guys.
My plan is to go with a hondata s1, new map sensor, and remove the safc. Inline pro is 5 min from me so will be tuning there.
1.Any other (cheaper) options / ideas ?
2.Anybody ever heard of or ran ECTUNE?
3.Anyway I can dig up the SAFC settings and restore them? Never had them reset on me before on previous vehicles. Or run another users settings with similar setup just to see if the car would start to make sure the SAFC is my only issue.
4.Your thoughts/ suggestions of my issue?

EcTune is popular, Google it to learn more. You should not be using both EcTune and SAFC together. It sounds like the previous owner had a half *** tune and used the piggyback SAFC to "fix" it. Now that the SAFC has reset you've lost your crutch.
Keep the MAP, ditch the SAFC and get EcTune tuned by a professional.
