D16 A1 top mount mani?
Hi, my name is Larry and I am new to the Honda world, so be gentle. I have a 87 Integra DOHC D16 A1 motor, I am looking for a top mount turbo manifold that I can bolt a T28 off a S15. I was told by a board member Solster, that all D series flanges are one and the same.
I noticed alot of the D series motors are single cam, mine is double, bearing that in mind, does the fact still stand that the flange bolt pattern are the same?
With that said, I am looking for a decent top mount manifold. I checked Ebay and most seem to be T3 flange. If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be great, want my summer toy back running
THANKS

Custom is your only option....or a cast topmount with t3-t2 adapterplate
The dohc d16s share the same exhaust patten, the intake is different though....it is very similar to a dohc zc motor

Thanks, little surprised that there isn't anymore options out there than a custom manifold....anyone else second Scott's statement.
I have plenty of room on top, where the turbo would be mounted, if that is what some of you are thinking of as a limiting factor, therefore not mentioning it......who knows, just grasping here.
If I have to go custom, where would I turn to, as there are no local fab shops, that I know of.
Thanks again

Talk to greg @ www.go-autoworks.com or bob @ www.rcautoworks.com both are top quality and known for supporting the d-series motors
Thanks again Scott, will give them a try. If not, I came up with a rig, buy T3 manni with a bolt on machined T3 to T28 flange, which has a smooth transition, ought to do, but guess I want it to look good too, as it will very visible. Thanks again
