i have a question about OEM drive axle seals on my 1987 honda civic crx HF manual transmission. I am not sure what the part numbers for drivers and passenger side I am suppose to order on the website: www.hondaautomotiveparts.com (majestic) I think these are the numbers, but why would they be 2 different seals? they both look the same size on the transmission when I look at it. Part number 91205-PL3-A01 010 001 OIL SEAL (35X56X8) (ARAI) and 91216-PA0-003 013 001 OIL SEAL (22X35X7) (ARAI). Maybe I am ordering the wrong seals? Anyone know the Honda OEM seal part number if I am wrong? thank you for your help.

 

You should probably try to ask this in the classic Honda section as this is 88-91 section, but most axle seals I have seen are different between the driver and passenger side.

 

Driver side is 91206-PE6-003 OIL SEAL (35X56X8) hondaautomotiveparts.com

Passenger side is not listed on that site.

Hondapartsdeal.com lists the passenger side as 91205-PE6-004 OIL SEAL (35X68X9) (NOK)

Passenger side seal isn't on the same part of the tranny housing as the drivers side, so it's not listed with the same diagram.
