Obd0 wiring help

Default Obd0 wiring help

I am tryin to drop this b series in my ef without goin obd1 how would I wire up tha map sensor on tha throttle body since mine is on tha firewall any advice would be greatly appreciated

Just unplug the map sensor from the fire wall and attach in to the one on the throttle body.

good luck with your o2 sensors. do you have the proper exhaust manifold or are you connecting the two wires together?

i was going to do this but after reading up on it obd1 is the way to go for sure.

No need to OBD-1, especially if it's just a stock engine. What are you dropping in there?

I am puttin a jdm b16 with a gsr head with a skunk 2 pro series manifold in my 89 ef si, n which 2 wires for tha o2 sensor are you talkin about?

You can probably get away with using a chipped PS9 running B16 maps (I can probably email you a basemap). You would only need to run 1 wire for VTEC from pin A8 to the solenoid. Also, you would still need to tune a bit, but still better than the hassle and expense of going OBD-1.

The second O2 sensor is only needed with PR3/PW0 ECUs, which are a pain in the *** to use.
