Clutch Switch problems
My 1999 accord 5 speed wont turn over, I'm certain the clutch switch is defective, there are 2 switches as seen in this photo parts 4 and 5

how can I bypass these switch to start the car with out the clutch?

You will need a voltmeter to check that the switches operate correctly. Either they open or close a circuit. If one is not working you will either need to open or close the circuit(s), jumper(or don't) as need be. If this is working correctly, I would check that the Main Relay is functioning correctly. Check the FAQs for more info.
Thanks for the reply mike, as for the main relay I hear my fuel pump working so I don't think that's the problem.
Basically when I turn the key to the start position nothing happens no cranking. The car works perfectly fine if I compression start it. The first time this problem occurred I felt a weird click in the pedal as I pushed the clutch in which leads me to believe that it is one of the sensors, it's as if the car doesn't know I'm pushing the clutch. Another possibility is a defective starter I'll test that as well.
I guess to test it like you are suggesting I would tap into the wires and push the clutch if the voltage doesn't change when the switches open/close then my assumption is right and the switches are the problem, this is correct?

Someone mentioned ~year ago that they were having issues with their clutch switch I think the button or cap on the button fell off or misaligned.
The inhibitor switch, upper one, must close (clutch pedal to floor)to complete the circut. It has the same little "pad" as the brake switch, so be sure you check that it is still there....find a "thing" in the floor board that looked like a piece of crayon?
Problem fixed, the lever on the clutch pedal that pushes the 'pedal compressed' switch was bent and not engaging the switch. Don't know how the F that even happened but it's fixed and cost me nothing.
Thanks for all your responses!

Thats great to hear!!
My car was having the exact same issue when I bought it but the problem just went away. Ive also read many others having the same issue. You turn the key and nothing happens, so you know theres not an issue anywhere else lo.
