Default MDX: short ram

Well i was tired of the gutlessness of my stock j35 in the 02 mdx...i just knew i could get better power, mpg, and overall response out of hondas big v6...so i decided to start dabbling with lil things here and there...on my list of things to do were a more free flowing exhaust, an intake of some sort or k&n oe filter replacemnt, and eventually a nice set of headers wich will more then likley have to be built in-house, so i was bored and tired of waitng so i decided to remove the top of the factory airbox, remove the filter, and shove my k&n cone filter attached to the factory intake arm from the throttle body...no numbers or anything but i will say it sounds WAY better...has better throttle response, and even a lil bit better mpg i think...im still kinda testing it but so far so good glad i did it...no codes or anything either so thats always a plus!

I'm pretty sure you're only getting noise out of that thing.

UPDATE: After quite a bit of long distance driving i have notice a consistent 1.5ish mpg! not much but still cool nonetheless...as far as power...as i said before it is ALOT louder, especially at crossover and that sometimes makes you "think"your going faster then before. However, small the gains may be, but i refuse to believe they are non-existent seeing the increase in mpg's...also magical max whp #'s aside, one can always almost instantly tell a difference in throttle response from the driver seat wich i can notice a better power delivery then before.
