Since my college classes are finished i been really bored just cleaning the Lude and what not. Looking at my old note book i had a idea. I bet its been done but idc I didnt feel like spending $85+ for real JDM Badges that will go missing within 3 days (I live in NYC land of bootleg and car thieves). Plus If i dont like i didnt spend anything at all just pull it off and remove the red back.

Ok..so i was sitting here and read your post, saw the pics, and thought to myself..WTF??!!! This thread should be under WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR LUDE TODAY..but then i thought again, hmmm, this isnt so bad, the EMBLEM looks pretty nice..cool job, it wouldnt have never crossed my mind to use paper backing...one question though...doesnt the weather affect it or did you paint the red paper with any spray can???

 

He used the plastic from a notebook. It's not paper. In New York, it should be fine. In NV or AZ, it would probably not be fine.

 

Its the plastic cover of the 5star notebooks. It didnt cost me anything so if it does fade i can just remove it and replace it. Shouldnt fade quickly though

 

The idea is actually quite ingenious, I'm not a fan of red emblems but it looks good if you're into it.

I'd prefer shaved ... just so you know where I'm coming from, I prefer subtle to flash.

If that was on my car while I was behind the wheel, I would feel like a huge cheap *** for not buying the real thing haha but you like it, that's all that counts

 

Call me cheap idc. I would rather spend the $85 on something else right now like tuition and mechanical purposes. If you read the post i live in NyC and if people have the ***** to take a amg65 lower front grill inserts from my neighbor the real emblems are as good as gone. So far the only hate i got for it is from you so kudos to you bro
