^ yea no ****? The s2k does not need a skid plate even when slammed cause the chassi comes in contact with the ground b4 the motor or trans. In my 5 years of researching this car and parts I have never came across a skid plate or anyone that has cracked their oilpan/trans/diff from being "slammed"

i dont know anyone personally, but ive read about it happening to some people. ive been driving slammed for about 4 months, and only bottomed out 2 twice. its more of a want vs need.
Yeah the chassis would hit before the oil pan.
I used to drive an NA miata that was 'stanced'
So low it would literally break reflectors off the road. I raised the motor and welded a 1/2" cold rolled steel plate and it was indestructible.
Now, with my AP2, I think I love the car too much to ruin by slamming it.
