Nasty gunk around my axle
The title says it all. I would like to add that about a year ago I had my axles replaced, and when the transmission fluid was replaced, they used motor oil instead of manual transmission fluid. I have a strong feeling that it has something to do with the nasty gunk that you see in the video, but I'll let someone else be the judge of that. Also, I had just bled the clutch out a few days ago, but I don't think that's relevant to this. The gunk looks like it's been sitting there for some time now.
Are you sure thats not the grease left over from your old axles? When I replaced my axles I left the old great on there, it didnt bother me.
Also, switch out your transmission fluid with Honda MTF ASAP. Itll be the best $20 you ever spend!

I'm positive it's not from the old axles. All of the oil that came out from the old axle dripped down. I remember that we even wiped off the excess oil from around the axle inlet. The gunk that's there now is all around the axle; bottom, sides, and above it. But yes, I will definitely stop by the dealer to pick up some Honda MTF
Oil, grease; potato, potatoh, you know what I mean. They're both lubricants, and I was referring to the MTF that was coming of the tranny when I pulled the axle out.
