Engine/Coolant Temp Gauge stopped working
Got a 90 Accord LX and today when I drained out the coolant to change it right after the temp gauge wouldn't work (stays at cold the whole time). I bleed the system like normal, drove it but still nothing. I checked the sender and started out at 250ohm cold and when down as temperature went up (normal) and the gauge wire has power. I tried grounding the wire but the gauge still wouldn't move. The connection is good. Any simple little problems before I rip it apart?
have you checked your coolant temp gauge sensor on the head of the engine? its located just above the trans and is hidden under the distributor

^^^thats what the sensor looks like, its a one wire thermal sensor, common part togo bad after years of service
