I have a 95 Honda Civic ex with a B18B1 engine.this morning I started my car and it begin to flash the oil light but it keeps flashing.i changed my.oil and.filter.not even 6 months ago.so what can the problem be?

Check the level, and condition. Not for nothing 6 months is a long time if you are using conventional oil.

Honeslty that looks like a faulty sending unit. If you have a fram oil filter on there that could be a problem too.

 

Does it only do it at idle?

 

my d series did that when it was low on oil. as stated before check your oil level and check for any leaks.

 

My oil light flashes when I go around a corner fast while vtec is engaged.

 

Mine doesn't. Keep your oil topped off. Check it at least every two weeks. I check mine every week.

 

That means your oil is low.

 

That was the problem, I had no oil left.it was empty.thanks guys appreciate it.

 

You really made a thread... before checking the thing the light was warning about... really....
