Default Mild b16 eg hatch build

After searching through numerous threads I figured out how I wanna build my engine. I'm looking for 160-170 whp and perhaps 110-120 torque. It's gonna be a daily driver that I just want more out of. I'm looking for more mid to high end power. I have a JDM B16 1st gen with a ls gearbox. Not the best platform but it's what I'm gonna roll with.

I have a 4-2-1 header with a 2.25in collector and 2.5in cat back. I've been looking at the RMF narrow b series header and a vibrant ultra quiet resonator in place of my current cat so it can be a straight flow through 2.5in exhaust system.

Gonna keep the intake manifold and throttle body stock cause I've heard thy flow pretty well. Any confirmation on that?
Also goona try a custom air intake set up, crappy weather is an issue so no cai. Just perhaps a filter boxed off behind the headlight with a v-stack.

For cams I've chosen skunk2 stage 1 tuner series and cam gears. Along with itr dual springs and retainers or should I just go with skunk2 everything?

I'm a bit unfimliar with fuel upgrades but I believe a 255 walbro pump will be good along with FPR and injectors. Looking for some good recommendations.

Looking into a stage 1 clutch and maybe a itr flywheel, nothing too light and crazy.

After all that I'm gonna go with a phearble ecu with a base map ad get a good tune from a local shop. The ecu seems pretty compatible with a lot of tuning programs.

I believe thats about it. It's gonna cost an arm and a leg but I'll be happy. What kinda gains will this yield? Not lookin to boost just looking for a fun n/a build. Gonna keep it 1.6 don't got enough time to do anything too crazy.

What are you bumping for? You post up that this is a build thread.

Start building.

Otherwise do more research. I would try searching for answer to all these questions in the All-Motor forum since these have been asked and answered before.

BTW. You cannot tune a basemap. You will need a solid EMS. Plan on spending $500 for it and around $00-$500 for the tune itself.

Might want to rethink your build plans and go with a bigger engine.

Search for H2B.

This was my last car - (the one in my avatar photo)

No chip/tune just a healthy motor with basic bolt ons

I had fun with it...

So yeah...if you add some cams and a good tune you should be close to your goal.
