Default trans, axles and intermediate shaft ?'s

so i just need to clear some stuff up, h2b going in an ef hatch with dx hubs

my trans is a 90-91 jdm y1 cable, i have a dc intermediate shaft but i bought a da driver axle and obviously it doesnt fit, i was wondering instead of trying to find a DA intermediate shaft can i just run dc axles? i wasnt sure if the axle seals from the dc axle would work with the 90-91 cable trans. also i wasnt sure if i need 90-91 da axles for it to work also...anybody have any input and/or exactly what i need to work with the y1 trans? thanks
