Default Clay baring the R (help!!)

i just bought some mothers clay bar kit, do i just follow the instructions and then use the wax that comes with it afterwards?
and then after that
like how come there is pre wax cleaner
sealer and glaze
and then wax
like 3 steps after i use the clay bar?
is this correct

I WENT mothers because meguiar's just wasn't appealing to me and i think they are all the same anyways
what do i do is that correct what i said or like after i was should i use pre wax?
or clay bar

After you clay the car, use a polish to take out swirls and give more shine. Wax is always the last step. I use the mothers clay bar, then 2 coats Meguiars show car glaze #7 and 2 coats Meguiars hi-tech yellow wax #26. Comes out very nice, if you keep it waxed regularly you likely won't have to clay your car again or for a very long time.

yeah, you've got it correct. clay, pre wax cleaner, sealer/glaze, then wax. I've used this system before... awesome results, especially if you have a black/dark colored car.

I just pre-washed (removed the old wax), then clayed, then rewashed after clay, then put some polish/swirl remover on in 1 night (approx. 3hrs). The next day I removed the polish/ swirl remover and took the picture. Amazing. A few days later I put some more polish on, then waxed it. Amazing!!!!! I've tried everything as for wax on my car. Trust me I mean everything. Even professional stuff. Heck I even had a Meguires rep. visit my house monthly for stuff. lol I then got some Zaino and to try out on our M3. After just testing the detailer spray I knew Zaino was gonna be some good stuff. Damn I love that wax, etc...

just to make my point even more clear when I say I have tried every wax on the market (off the shelf and for professionals only).
(this is 3/4 of my detailing collection. I have so much that I had to make more shelfs on my walls to hold it all).
Now that I have Zanio, its all going in the trash.

All of those waxes even when used with my Miluakee high powered buffer, doesn't even come close to Zanio:

I'm still in shock. As Austin, or anyone who knows me well and has been around me since I have tried this wax. I've been giving people 5min demo's of this Zaino wax to everyone to show how crazy it is.

you can buy the Zanio wax from their website. Just print out the order form and mail it in with a check. Takes like 1 week. I kept putting it off because I had to order it, however after taking the time to get it, its well worth it. Trust me. I kick myself for not trying it sooner and saving me all this money on all those other waxes (Meguires, Mothers, Carcraft, Klasse, 3M, wax shop, zymol, etc...).

Oh yeah the reason I used the polish/swirl remover before the wax, is because wax is a sealer to the paint. You use the polish to get rid of swirls, etc... and to add oils to the paints surface. Then you add the wax which will lock all the polishes chemicals into the paint. Read Zaino's website. Trust me their is more then enough information on everything about waxing and polishing a car.

from Zaino's Website:

Z-5 POLISH FOR SWIRL MARKS & FINE SCRATCHES

FACT. The only way to remove, heavy swirl marks and scratches from a clear coated surface is to have the car professionally machine buffed with an abrasive compound. This should be the last resort, as factory clear coat is very thin and you can break thru it very easily. Also, most polishes and waxes contain abrasives, they remove some swirl marks but create new swirls. Kinda of catch-22. Z-5 is the first non-abrasive polish that will eliminate swirl marks, fine scratches and spidering, without hurting the integrity of the clear coat. It does this in stages, anywhere between 1 to 3 applications. This in itself is a major technological breakthrough. With each application of Z-5 polish, you will see the swirl marks and fine scratches gradually lessen, until the marks are no longer visible. Although this procedure may seem time consuming, the results are well worth it. This is the only way a swirl mark problem should be addressed and corrected.

Z-5 is the safest, most cost effective way of repairing the paint, so to speak. After you are satisfied with the way the paint looks. Switch to Z-2 Show Car Polish to achieve an even higher wet-looking, optically perfect paint finish. Follow up with Z-6 "Gloss Enhancer" spray. Z-6 "Gloss Enhancer" spray should be used between every coat of Z-5 or Z-2. It is an extremely high, optical enhancing product and dramatically increases light refraction and reflection. The results will knock your socks off! All Show Car Polish products are molecular crosslinking and are 100% compatible with each other.

NOTE: For any future swirls or scratches you may get, just reapply Z-5 to the affected area or the whole car if you prefer. Z-5 can be used right over Z-2. They are completely compatible and interchangeable. For the highest optical paint enhancement always follow up Z-5 with a coat of Z-2. One eight ounce bottle of Z-5 Polish will yield approximately eight to ten coats on a mid-size car.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Z-2 SHOW CAR POLISH FOR CLEAR COATED FINISHES

Our customers describe Z-2 Show Car Polish with one word. AWESOME! Latest synthetic technology gives Z-2 Show Car Polish the "wettest-looking," deepest, slickest, clearest, richest, distortion-free and longest-lasting finish protection in the industry. These products were originally created for some of the finest custom showcars in the world to enhance and protect their already flawless paintwork. Imagine what it will do for your paint. Z-2 Show Car Polish contains state-of-the-art optical enhancers and gloss additives to show the true color and clarity of your paint. It is 99.9% optically perfect. We also added Ultra-Gard™ UV(40) our advanced technological sunscreen for the ultimate protection against fading and shrinking. A special additive to keep the paint from losing its elasticity and resilience. This restores the gloss on rubber and plastic painted parts, which have a tendency to fade and lose gloss faster than the rest of the vehicle.

Z-2 bonds with the paint pigment and will get "wetter," "deeper and richer" with multiple coats, it will also help eliminate swirl marks. Z-2 is a hydrophobic-based formula and contains no abrasives, silicones, or yellowing carnauba wax. Z-2 is the easiest and quickest polish you will ever use, it will not streak, yellow, smear, film or leave a haze even on black, in any situation. Leaves no powder or white residue in cracks, is non-greasy, non-oily, anti-static, will not attract dust or dirt and can be applied to the entire vehicle in the sun or shade. Z-2 polish is a true paint protectant designed to replace traditional waxes. It will give your paint finish total environmental protection and is the only protectant you will ever need. It will offer more protection than any wax in the industry.... You will see!!! Nothing sticks to Zaino Show Car polish. It will outperform, outprotect, outshine and outlast anything on the market today. Guaranteed!

The first application of Z-2 Show Car Polish will produce a super high wet-looking, durable gloss. This is fine for the average vehicle. For the enthusiast, a second coat of Z-2 will simply amaze you in terms of wetness, slickness and optical clarity. You will really see the effect, Z-2 polish has on making ordinary paint finishes look Show Car quality. The third coat, well, simply put it's AWESOME! One eight ounce bottle of Z-2 Show Car Polish will yield approximately eight to ten coats on a mid-size car.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ZFX™ Flash Cure Accelerator Additive (the little blue bottle)

Three years in the making, Zaino ZFX™ is finally here!

ZFX™, with Flash Cure™ (patent pending), is a revolutionary new polish enhancement additive that's exclusive to the Zaino Show Car Polish system. There's never been anything quite like ZFX™, and here's why:

All polish, sealant and wax protection systems must "cure" before they can effectively protect your paint. Once cured, all paint protection systems begin to deteriorate. The rate of deterioration depends on many factors, including the chemicals used, bonding qualities, weather, washing, and use of the car.

A very few specialty paint protection systems can be layered to increase protection and paint appearance. Layer-able systems must cure prior to application of subsequent coats. Depending on the product, cure time may take a few hours or a few days.

For lasting protection, most synthetic sealants are formulated to be hard. If not properly designed, synthetic sealants may crack, yellow or distort the optics of the paint surface.
ZFX™ is a Zaino Show Car Polish acceleration and appearance additive. It offers near-instant cure time, reduced surface distortion, enhanced polish flexibility, and improved bonding to both paint and additional layers of Show Car Polish. In simple terms, ZFX™ vastly improves paint surface appearance and increases polish durability.

ZFX™ is the product of more than 30 years experience painting show cars. Professional painters add chemicals and compounds to their paint mix prior to painting to improve paint flexibility, reduce paint imperfections, increase hardness, and improve gloss. We applied this same line of thinking in the development of ZFX™. The result is a stunning professional show car finish with less effort, no waiting and longer-lasting results.

ZFX™ can be used with any of our Show Car Polish products, including Z-2, Z-3 and Z-5. Plus, ZFX™ makes using Z-1 Polish Lok unnecessary on cars that have been clayed and thoroughly cleaned with Dawn dishwashing liquid.

When we say "acceleration," we mean it! Adding ZFX™ to any one of our Show Car Polishes prior to use is like kicking an F-14 Tomcat into afterburner. The competition just can't compete... we'll shoot them down every time. Perfect shine, less time -- guaranteed!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And yes everything they say is VERY VERY TRUE!!!!!!!! At first I was like sure its probally good, yet when compaired to a good wax on the market, Zaino is probally slightly better or equal too. HOWEVER I WAS WAY WRONG! ZAINO KICKS ***!!!!! I'm still stunned as I speak. I mean come on Meguires, Mothers, etc... how can Zaino kick your *** so badly!

i totally hear ya...I've got piles of old stuff (mothers, meguires, etc.) all just sitting here for when people come over. I let them use it up

The Zaino is the best. And using the spray after each wash helps protect, etc. And their tire stuff is the best. At first I hated it, but now.....it leaves a good finish (not shiny).

lol, thats exactly what I'm doing. I just gave a huge paper bag full of wax's to a friend to keep. I'll just stick with my simple 2 bottles of polish, 1 bottle of car wash, and 1 bottle of spray detailer.

The crazy thing is I gave a friend a test of the stuff on our M3 which was dirty. I used the Meguires clay bar and the whole famous 3 step process from Meguires to a section of the hood. I then did a section on the hood with the Zaino clay bar (with out even prepping the paint), then finished it off with some spray detailer. I didn't even wax the zaino section. The difference in color and feel was amazing. The Zaino section kicked the Meguires *** up and down the hood! hahahaha

People might think the difference isn't as crazy as I say. However if your local, feel my car or better yet ask and I'll give you a 5min demo against any wax on the market (since I have everything in my garage.)
Or if your not local just try it. Or do a search on the net. The old american car show people love this stuff. And you know they are the crazy ones who never drive their cars and just show. I have never heard a bad review on this stuff, nor have I heard of someone saying other wax is better. Nothing is better then this stuff. Heck I don't know how you can get better stuff then this. Its amazing is every aspect.

lol, I'm not crazy. I seriously have tried everything when it comes to wax. I've talked to all the experts and best detailing shops around here in the Bay Area, however nothing I used seemed to make me go Holy ****. Even after doing like 10+ coats with high speed buffers, etc... I still didn't feel 100% amazed.

However this Zaino stuff freaking blows me away. Heck I havn't even thought about using my buffers yet. Heck I havn't even done a 2nd coat of polish yet! lol I'm so damn amazed that just the spray detailer seems crazy. lol hahaha

Here's some more pictures. Its hard to get the glossy look on a white car outside. You need indoor shots to show the shine. But here's some pictures.
And yes its hazy in the pictures. Heard about all the CA fires, etc... well I was about 15 miles from one.
