Default 95 Civic/B16a swap - 15A ECU fuse blowing

My car suddenly dies. The 15A fuse for the ecu at the fuse box blows up all the time. What will cause my fuse to blow up since it was running fine. I tried another known good stock P28 ecu and still blows up the fuse. Any inputs?

No that fuse has a few circuits on it. ECU, IACV, EVAP Purge, injectors, and 02 heating element. First make sure you didn't swap the EVAP and IACV connectors. IACV should be blue/yellow stripe and yellow/black stripe. If they are correct unplug each one of the above sensors one at a time and see which one when unplugged doesn't trip the fuse then you could your issue.

No. You should have listed that car info in the first post (per the rules) and it was my fault for answering without having it.
Applies To: 1996–99 Civic
