Default b16a1 swap for 88-91 crx/civic

I have a complete b16a1 changeover for sale. had a guy back out on his swap so i am selling it. in the maryland area pickup preferred. it has everything for an 88-91 civic/crx except motor mounts. i am selling it for 1650 obo. the price i paid to get it here. i will install it if needed for and additional 1500, due to cost of motor mounts.
i know this should be in classifieds but i thought i would try it here as well.

Install for 1500! WOW HASPORT motor mounts are only 400 for an 88-91 getting a b16a. so you really want 1100 to install an engine that almost anyone could install in 2 days. Man you need to think about your prices before you go setting them. Plus the HMO conversion comes WITH motor mounts, so you aren't selling the complete swap

well i cost 500 here for hasport mounts and no mounts came on the engine. and when i got it from steve at hmo it was 1350 plus shipping for it. i do not plan on anyone wanting me to istall it for them. and most people who know nothing bout engine pay much more than 1100 for an install. i am only trying to sell it for the guy i bought it for to get his money back. don't shoot the messenger.

The motor mounts that come with the HMO swap or any JDM changeover wont work unless you re-weld them...and unless your a good welder who knows exactly where the mount locations are, the welding labor will be equivalent to HASPORT mounts.

eh just bust out the good old welder and take some time. You'll figure out where they go. But your right i would just go with HASport motor mounts, they are more sturdy than the origional motor mounts anyway. Also is this guy selling the crossmember for this swap? So that way someone could throw a turbo in it?? I'll still go HMO's 1150+200 shipping=me with a B16a.....ah it will happen in a short 2 week period.

LAMEO! what the hell? ppl can get at least b16b or b18 c now.....go get a new engine b4 wanting to sell, if u can fit a k20a into a EG6 then you might as well go home..

anyway its better if you do buy a new one, less rpms... last longer

Maybe some people don't want a b18c......i mean the b16a is almost the easiest swap into a 88-91 CRX/Civic, besides the ZC.
