Default Edmunds or KBB?

I've been thinking about selling my R and so I got on KBB, Edmunds, and CL to figure out its value. None on CL in my area. KBB says 19k. Edmunds says 15k. Both are for suggested retail. Which one seems more realistic?

2001 PY
39k miles
Overall excellent condition (a few nicks on the bumper)
100% stock

Neither!! LOL.... im assuming its a clean title? If its it, 15k is one HELL of a deal! 19k on the other and is a little steep but does fit in the price range and would differently help out on youR end! It would really take awhile for the right person to spend that much on a R and believe me they do come along. I'd say $17-18k would be a fair reasonable price for it. I just checked my R, clean title, 75k on kbb and it suggested retail was at $16,700!!! But again i would never get that

Quick sell go with $15K, wait a while you might get $18K...why sell though? Sounds like a mint R

give it a shot. the vast majority of cars sell at trade in or private party tops. if you get retail you're doing really well.

the R is kind of a hard car to sell i would imagine. you have a small pool of buyers

Yeah it has a clean title. I bought her brand new off the lot over a decade ago. I'm selling because my priorities/interests have changed since then. 17-18k seems reasonable. I assume pricing is regional to some extent. Would prices in nor cal be lower or higher than average? Supply should be abundant here but like I said before there isn't any on CL at the moment.

Also, what's the current price trend? I know a few years back it was going down. Is it rising at the moment?

prices have been flat on the nice examples and down on the high mile rattle traps. your best bet with that car would be ebay. it's kind of a specialty item that you'll likely have to go national with to find a buyer.

list the car and see what kind of offers you get.

I would price it at 21k, if you are the original owner...give it time, the right person will come!
