got exhaust! installing.......
Hello. Thanks to all of u guys who participated in my ultimate exhaust poll, i bought the greddy evo catback. I bought it for 479 shipped and i have the set up sitting in my room. Now, i have never put any exhaust on any car before so i'll need help from honda-tech to do this. Please post step by step instructions on how to install this fabulous exhaust system. Btw, i have a 2002 ex 2 door 5 spd. (id prefer a member that actually installed this specific exhaust before to post the instructions) Thank you. i'll post pics after i install.
Installing an exhaust is very straight-forward. Ive installed them on Tegs, Civics and my own accord. Its all the same process.
1) Unbolt old exhaust from the muffler section and work towards the cat removing the piping from the hangers.
2) Install in the reverse order and re-hang the new piping onto the existing hangers.
Should take 15mins.

I took off mine before. I have a 02 coupe 4 cyl also.
is good that is new so no rusts on the bolt or anything.
is pretty simple.
just grab some snap-on and yank it out.
I spray wd40 all over the bolt and let it sit about 5 min and then use a zippo lighter to heat up the bolt alittle bit.
it came off quite easy compare to Cat.

pro-kit, which is the springs i desperately want.....since i live close to u, maybe u can show me how ur car looks with eibach? i have never seen eibachs on accord.

on your car, replacing the catback is easy because all the bolts are relatively 'new' and are easy to remove. on my 94 most of the bolts were seized and were a b*tch to take off without an airgun. but it was worth it at the end.
Yep, is hard to find some picture of 6th gen coupe with eibach in the color you want..I only got one picture before i installed mine.
eibach=best investment yet..
I love it so much I let my friend to test drive it and then he planning to sell his coilover to get prokit.
Btw what color is your car?
i have couple picture of white(mine is white) and black coupe with eibach prokit.

You don't have to know anything about installing exhausts to install an exhaust. Just know how to turn a wrench in both directions. First soak down the bolts on the cat to the resonator and then the ones from the resonator to the muffler with WD-40. They are going to be rusted and a pain in the *** to undo.
If possible, borrow an impact wrench from a friend, but sometimes they are hard to work with because of low clearance from heatshields, etc. Unbolt muffler, then resonator from cat, put on new resonator and then muffler. You're done. Enjoy your new exhaust.

I do have a pic of a black coupe with eibach(someone sent it to be before I install the prokit.) I'll post it up tomorrow.
BTW I install my high flow cat myself too.
I broke two socket wrench heads and one bloody finger trying to yank it off.
the lesson-->wear a glove, the heat shield around the OEM cat is sharp as
fu_k.

damn.....yo car looks pretty tight.....by looking at the stock painted rims, its a special edition model? if so, u painted the sideskirts? what kind of strut bar is that? was it a bitch installing it? btw, ur drop looks very clean....im ordering my prokits this weekend.
do exhausts from the philippines come with the full catback system? are they as good quality as greddy, apexi, tanabe, hks, etc??
where do you think ALL that stuff is made??????? theres probobly like 3-4 manufactorers of this stuff worldwide. everyone slaps different sticker on it. most of that 50-100 is shipping because those ppl work for pennies on the dollar.
I have seen a lot of Greddys and other 'name brand' rust out in a year... and that was down in FL.
