Default Throttle Pedal

Is there any way to make the throttle pedal a little harder to press down. Mine is very light and would like to stiffen it up a bit. Thanks for any info.

you could perhaps try to replace the throttle return springs (there is one at the pedal itself, and one at the throttle body) with stiffer ones.. but i'm not sure where you'd get springs that fit, as the honda ones are kinda specialized.

If you decide to do this-I would only do it at the pedal itself- Do Not put any additional tension in the throttle body. You can get universal return springs at NAPA or other auto parts stores. Some speed shops (Jegs and Summit too) have them for domestics and those can be adapted.

why would you want too? Seems like a waste of time in a very hard to reach spot.

well OEMs might be stiffer... The spring would lose alot of its stiffnes after 12 years of driving
