I went to the junkyard a got a pair or Sti hid oem I was wondering if i cam retro those in with out doing projectors cause I know the Sti didn't come projectors

 

That's what a retrofit is, taking the optics from a HID equipped car and fitting them into your car.

So, yes, if you take the HID reflectors and replace the stock reflectors in your existing headlamps (assuming they'll even fit since you can't trim them and expect them to work), then you will have a HID reflector retrofit. However, don't expect the same performance as a HID projector, because you won't get it.

 

What year STi? They DID come with projectors, at least on the 06+ models.
