Crank chipped at woodruff key
So I'm unsure of what I should do so I figured I'd ask your advice.
I have a 93 del sol with the d15b7 in it. Well the other day the crank chipped where the woodruff key is. This also rounded out the crank pulley as well. This happened about 100miles from my house and that is currently where the car sits.
I do have another bottom end I can put in the car but I have to figure out how to get the car back home. But is there a way to possibly fix the chip and still drive the car? Where would I get a new woodruff key anyway?
I'm also just thinking about buying another vehicle until I'm able to get this car back up here and fixed but just not sure what to do.

The crankshaft is most likely trashed as cranksnub damage sux, and some machine shops will or can repair depending on the extent of the damage.
You will also have to replace the crank pulley if damaged.
Your best bet bud would be sourcing a complete replacement short block assy. as it will have everything you need including the key.
Machining/repairing/missmaching parts might fix, but will cost more headache, and possibly more $ in the longrun.
I've been here before, lol, but my damagaged cranksnub was from a 69 426 hemi motor, so try not to feel bad. Replacing that crank cost me killer coin!
get a new key and a good used pulley and bolt. Jam something in the keyway beside the key to keep it from moving around (a finishing nail with the head cut off works well) Put the bolt in and keep driving. If it lasts great, if it doesn't you shouldn't be out more than about $50
Mine's been together like this since march.

lolz,
missed the how to limp it home part
That happened to me a year ago with a 93 del sol D16Z6.
I bought a new crank pulley and put it on with a new woodruff key and a touch of JB Weld to fill the chip in the crank. It's still running now. I forgot all about it until I read your post. I think the new pulley was about $150.
Old Hondas are fun.

Im having the similar problem with my 1992 honda with the d16 engine. I bought it from a buddy for $100. He said it had a small problem with the pulley and he just didnt feel like fixing it so i said i would and grabbed it. So i order a new pulley and it took forever to get the old one off. As i was studying the crank and the cog that attach to the pulley i noticed a chip where the key goes, before i stick the new pulley on i need to get a new key. That JB weld idea sounds great so ill do that and see what happens, but does anybody know what size the woodruff key is for these cranks?
The only thing that the Woodruff Key is used for is crankshaft pulley allignment. you can run it without one completely, but you will not be able to time your engine using a timing light. If the Crankshaft pulley is torqued properly, you should not have any issues.
