Default Tire rubbing on rolled fenders

My rear tires are rubbing over bumps or minor imperfections on the road. (Sometimes hard turns.) Fenders are rolled so the tires are hitting a flat surface of the fender, not any sharp edges.
A shop said that the worst that can happen is the paint rubbing off of the contact surface on the fender.

How bad can tire rubbing be if left alone?

Thanks

Not the best pic

There's no noticeable damage on the tires, just some marks that comes from the fender

You'll wear down the sidewall after a while. Depending on how much interference there is, you may be fine... or there may be a potential of wearing too much material off of the sidewall.

I think it might wear off the sidewall where the tread is, not sidewall where the letters are.

I could.
Now I think I have another problem with the coilovers on that side sagging. Even though the thread count of the coils are the same on both sides, they're not exactly the same. Might have to just raise one side to make it even :/

You don't measure coilovers by the treads. You measure by the top of the fender to the top of the wheel hub.

Also my tires on my lex rub if I have people in the back or if I hit big bumps but it doesn't happen much and I don't ride people in the back. Since I rolled my fenders I haven't noticed much wear on the tires where the rub. Just keep an eye on them to be safe. Smaller rims are always a option.
