Aftermarket Bushings
Hey fellas, Well I should be picking up my S2k from the paint shop in about 2 weeks (doing a complete rebuild due to an idiotic prior owner). I have tried searching this forum, S2ki, and google but I can't seem to find what i'm looking for.
I would like to go through the whole suspension and replace most of the older parts. Does anyone make a poly bushing set for these? Anything aftermarket at all that can stiffen it up a bit for track days? Thanks for any useful input.

I recommend going with the PowerFlex kit, energy and white line does not make bushings for the control arms or the diff and trans mounts for the s2k
i just pick up some mounts from

and they hooked it up and beat all the other prices i called around for

i'm not a fan of poly bushings at all.
Full-Blown has derlin bushings for the rear.
I put mugen bushings in the front, they are alot stiffer than stock and still rubber so they wont distort and bind up.
I will probably go with the full blown bushings in the rear once I get my car back together.

Go search in the road race forum... they distort and get sloppy over time is my main reason for not using them. They pretty much offer no advantage over hard rubber
I just installed a complete set of Hardrace pillowball bushings. The car is still apart, so I don't currently have any feedback on how they feel except build quality and they are really expensive for a full bushing kit, more than double that of the Powerflex complete kit. The thing I do like about the pillowball, is it is protected by dust boots and will offer less deflection and distortion than poly. I considered using Delrin, but as stated it eventually gets sloppy over time, the only advantage I saw from Delrin to rubber is the cost and ease of replacement.
For lower cost I would definitely look at Powerflex. They have a lifetime guarantee for the bushings.

I never like poly bushings. I'd honestly just buy stock bushings/hard rubber bushings for a street car or pillow bushings for a track only car.
