Default 09+ Si Short Throw?

Hi guys,

Was wondering what type of short throw you are running in your 09-10 Si's?
I noticed that the Skunk2 short throw doesn't fit 09 but the guys at password said that it will really fit a 06-10. Does anybody have any experience with the skunk2 short throw? I would like a short throw but would hate for it to not fit. If you have any other suggestions rather than swapping the whole assembly that would be great.

Thanks for the help.

The short shifter will fit all 8th gens 06-11, but the 09-11 shifter from the factor is a bit different and has a longer lower arm that connects to the shift cable, You will need to dremel/ grind out a bit of the shifter assembly to get the short shift to fit correctly and not hit or bind on anything.

what he said. its the bottom part of the cable channel you have to grind down. without the grinding you wont be able to get into 2nd, 3rd, 6th, or rev. i did it and it was a bit of a pain and hit and miss with the grinding. i ended up scoring a twm short shift from someone and works like a charm. i know a lot of people that swear by the short shift adapters. but imho the stg2 from twm feels better.

This, how short does the shifting movement really have to be?!

Don't get me wrong like older Honda's they really needed it but I find that our models are pretty short already. I guess it more of a personal preference.
