crankshaft and timing belt etc..
so i just bought this 1993 honda prelude si h23a1 and i went to replace the serpentine belt and i put it on and started the car and went back and looked at the engine and it looks like the pulley was wobbling so i shut the car of and started looking around and it looks like where the bolt was someone broke it off and instead of fixing it they welded it on.. but from what i understand there is a key that holds the pulley straight so is it possible to weld it on and it not be welded on straight or do yall think the crank is bent cuz i drove it for a like a day cuz i had to get to work and on my way home the timing belt came off when i was driving so i had my buddy tow it home.. am i looking at a rebuild or what should i do?:thud
yea the pulley slides over the crank and the key slides in the key way then the bolt goes on the end of the crank.. well were that bolt should be someone welded it..ill try to get a pic tomorrow when its light out
lmfao thats wat i was thinking.. which leads me to my next question. does anyone know where i can find one for an h23a1 that would be good to use if i plan on turbo in the future?
