Well the title pretty much says it all. Two days ago I noticed that my car was leaking oil. I checked the filter, it's fine. It's coming from the back of the engine on the drivers side somewhere, but I haven't had time to take a closer look. There is oil all over the place and I'm not sure what's causing it. Any ideas of what could be causing this?

 

Without a closer look, no. When you say the back of the engine, you mean the side closest to the firewall?
