hondabond or red high temp sealant?
which one is better? i could get hondabond, but it'll take time to get it, but i have a lot of high temp sealant. which one is better for secure sealing? like for the water pump, thermostat, and other stuff.
Where is the best place to buy hondabond? does a dealer sell it? somewhere on the net? Implanning on doing a valve adjustment soon and want to know where I can pick some up. thanks
Found some hondabond product on the net. would it be better to get the Hondabond 4 Semi-drying liquid gasket. or the Hondabond HT
High-temperature silicone liquid gasket? It would make sense that the High Temp stuff would be a better choice given that I will be using on the head, I just want to be sure I get the right stuff. so Hondabond 4 or Hondabond HT?
thanks

Depends on what you are sealing...........
For trannys, oil pan gaskets, and valve cover gaskets, Hondabond all the way.
BTW this is a Honda, not a Chevy. No sealant is needed for the water pump or Tstat. Nice rubber gaskets/O rings for that.
