hi, i'm hoping someone out there has had some experience with this issue. first, it's a 94 accord ex, v-tech 2.2,problem is no power under load, starts fine, idle's fine, revs fine, put it in gear and it's fine until i press the gas pedal,then it just boggs down, if i feather the gas i can get it up to speed, when i do this it goes through all gears well. new fpr, well cleaned egr,new cat converter,new spark plugs(gaped properly).only trouble code i get is for the knock sensor, i will replace this also,will a knock sensor cause this? any help is welcome, thanks

 

try your o2 i had some bogging down problems and it was my o2 sen.

 

hell yeah you bet its your knock sensor. its not retarding or advancing your timing thus making it bog. do you have access to a scope? or advanced scanner that shows live data?

 

A 94 with a knock sensor code, can you tell more please.

 

will-239, these F22B1 SOHC VTEC does not come with a knock sensor. You probably read the code wrong.
