I was wondering if it was possible to change the color of the gauges in a 4th gen? I don't want to do it to my car, but I just read a post in the eg/del sol forum about a guy who changed his civic to amber instead of whatever color it was before. It's late and I was just wondering.

 

i have seen people put an amber film over things like there clock that is electro-illiminecent

 

it is possible i have seen pics of a guy that changed the VTEC engagment area of his tack to green. was shooting for yellow but couldnt find the right color film to get yellow. ill see if i can find it for you.

I really really want to change the color of my gauge cluter....what kind of film are you talking about and where can i get some???

 

my ef, its got bulbs that have a blue condom like thingy on them, and i just tore them off and the white light went amber...and to do the clock, you get this 3m stuff, i forget the name but you can buy it at an art video store, camera store, or whatever

thats different those are backlit in the 4th gen only the 92 and 93 have those the rest are electro-illuminecent, or "digital gauges" but the little condom things work on the other ludes that arent electro-illumnecent
